実に、すごい、チューニング要らずの電子ギター。

Electronic dance music is the new game, the future, with fancy computers, knobs, and beeping programs that only tech-savvy nerd-o-matics desire to master.  You Rock Digital has come out with a new innovative product, the You Rock Guitar (YRG), which allows us former bedroom rockstars to be future headline DJs.

“The YRG is a plug and play instrument with onboard sounds and the ability to control anything that reads MIDI note data. It has a 1/8^th inch in, 1/8^thinch out, 1/4^th inch out, USB out, and MIDI out.  Furthermore, any software-controlled parameter on the guitar (i.e. string gain, trigger sensitivity, velocity tables, tunings, tap mode, left handed mode, etc.) can easily be adjusted using the onboard control panel or the free downloadable software suite.”

Originally designed and marketed for electronic gaming systems, music producers noticed its versatility as a digital recording tool.  The YRG opens the world of production to those who discovered their passion for music through the guitar, but don’t have the time/money to learn boolean logik (computer programs).  Simply plug it into your computer, open Garage Band, and record those insane potential remixes that have been humming in your head.

 

Nagra IV-S Professional Tape Recorder

The Nagra IV-S professional tape recorder - probably the most successful and long lived portable professional tape recorder ever made. Classics machine that I love, beautifully made and until just a few years ago just about every film and television program produced had its sound recorded on one of these impeccable machines. Invented by the Polish audio designer, Stephan Kudelski, and has been manufactured at the Kudelski/Nagra factory in Cheseaux, Switzerland since the early 1960s.
